Why are they making excuses for that coach? A warning was issued.

He did not shut up and cussed the ump.

It was a good ejection

As proven by their actions after the ejection.

JJ has more class. From the press conferences it’s clear that the CC coach and team are douches.

For receiving a warning in the 1st inning which means you aren't allowed to leave the dugout to argue then leaving the dugout to argue in the 2nd inning?

I’m not a fan of the ejection. It’s a championship game, have a longer leash. He seemed very quick with the hook.

ETA. It also appeared to initially be some confusion as to the count. Granted, the situation was ultimately used to argue balls and strikes.

He’s the head coach; if he can’t keep himself in check after being warned and the ump lets it go, how can’t the ump discipline any other coach or player?

Good shot ump.

I’d melt for JJ acting like that in the first inning of a must win ball game.

Jay was thrown out in a game for telling umpire he hesitated to make a bad call! When you get warned you keep muuth shut.

If you don’t enforce shite like that on such a big stage, you invite accusations of favoritism with obvious evidence.

Nobody wants to see a coach thrown out in a game like this.

But the coach also needs to not want that. Yesterday, Jay wanted to discuss the HBP call, asked from the dugout, got shut down, and he had to swallow it.

The stress and pressure got to him.
