He was 15 and my dad was 18. Bunch bikers took over a bar down Bayou Lafourche. Art told my dad he was gonna fix it and my dad said these guys are gonna kill us. He said just watch nobody hots me from behind with a bottle, commenced to beating the crap out of all 8 guys by himself before cops arrived.

That Louisiana politics control everything that is LSU. All BOS members appointed by Governors office and they are the ones tying the hands of any and all hirings. The coach will get not who he wants but who BOS want. This has been going on for the 50 yrs or longer.

Welcome to Louisiana politics, I’ve been watching it destroy LSU sports for 40 years. The politicians control the administration. Top tier coaches know this and want no part of it.
