yes. at first thought, it should be PTCWS, but i'm sure there's some penis toters in the women's bracket too.

If we are not careful, we will have 17 different Gender Specific World Series' in our lifetime.

I guess it’s easier to say than “College Baseball World Series” and “College Softball World Series” but yes baseball and softball aren’t the same sport.

I continue to say College World Series. It's the only one that counts.

The College World Series began long before softball decided to use the same name to designate their championship the Women’s College World Series. If they thought that somehow made women seem less than men, they should have named it something unique. As has been suggested elsewhere, they could have named it or re-named it the College Softball World Series. There was absolutely no need to change the name of the CWS. It doesn’t annoy me as much as it amuses me.
