Passing through Mobile on the way to PCB. Looking for a good lunch with family that includes a 10 year-old. Needs to be close to I-10. In Mobile or close.

Thank you to all.

California Dreaming in Spanish Fort. Easy access on and off the interstate. Clean and consistent. She Crab soup is a must.

Felix’s and Bluegill are both good and easy to access on the causeway.

I agree. However, neither are as good as they were pre-Covid. I think Covid taught a lot of restaurants that you can skimp a little here and cut a corner there and people will still pay for it. And the group that manages these 2 places seemed to be enlightened by that fact. Bluegill's menu contracted big time during Covid and it never adjusted back to real life. Both are still good easy to access options whilst traversing I-10 though. As is the Original Oyster House and R&R's. The latter being my current favorite of the Causeway joints. Do not attempt the Ralph and Kacoo's though. It's abysmal.

If in the mood for fried try Market by the Bay, just off the Daphne exit on the other side of the bridge from Mobile. Very good fried catfish and shrimp.

The Velvet Pig is one of the best restaurants in Mobile.

I could not recommend it more strongly.

Market by the Bay just after the bridge heading west. Hole in the wall but we really enjoyed the experience. Get pie to take with you.

We enjoyed our stop at one of their locations during our trip to Fairhope a couple of years ago. Think it was the exit near Theodore. The young blonde girl taking orders outside in the heat was a definite plus.
