Where should we go for wedding ring repair?
Don’t really want to go to a chain. Don’t want to get ripped off.

Gino and Mopsy Chirico
(225) 767-5000
Gino is more on the appraising side, while Mopsy creates custom designs. They are fantastic to work with and charge reasonable prices, IMO. We've used them several times and have had a great experience each time.
Located on Bluebonnet in between Perkins and Highland.

KG's on Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. He is in the same shopping center as Hi Nabor. He is extremely talented, and very reasonable. All repairs are done in house, at his bench. Great guy!

Where did you buy it from? Go there

I bought from Fisher and Sons in Metairie. They closed apparently.

Leon LeJeune with what used to be Mud, Metal and Glass. Mud and Glass have retired so just Leon (metal) left. He is located off Perkins...next to S&G...sort of behind where Perkins HW used to be.

2nd for Mopsy. She made my wife’s wedding rings back when she had a different last name.

What’s the opinion on Hannans on Bluebonnet?
I went there a week or so ago and the clerk was very patient and helpful. I appreciated that she was steering me more towards a lab created diamond over a natural stone. Much cheaper, better quality, ect.
I appreciated that she didn’t try to push expensive rings and really took my budget into consideration.

She pushing you toward the inventory that needs moving… lab cheaper not of better quality though

Most of my research disagrees with you. Natural diamonds often have imperfections that are not found in the lab created diamonds. In a lab, they can create the perfect conditions/elements for diamond creation.
Maybe I’m just justifying being a cheap arse but from I’ve read, lab created is a better product for a much better price and the only reason to buy natural is for bragging rights.
