Is that the same judge in Houston that gave the cop killer bond?

At first I was trying to figure out how he got bond if it was a murder-suicide.

Chronology matters I guess.

These judges should face wrongful death (among others) suits. Their immunity is being taken advantage of to advance political goals.

These two things shouldn't happen. How have we as a society not fixed this yet?

I understand bonding out when you haven't been proven guilty of a crime yet, as the constitution lays that out very clearly. But what purpose does bond have in this instance where he's admitted guilt in the eyes of the law?

Its time for someone in the victims family to go pay a visit to the Judge's home

He was probably really unlikely to reoffend. I stand with the judge on this one. We need bail reform. If a couple women have to die in order to get bail reform like we need it, so be it.

I am so tired of going easy on violent offenders.

We had someone here in Louisiana recently that was out on bond after attempted murder who ended up killing 3 people while out.

Sick of this crap.

He was out on bond while preparing for trial. Apparently it is up to the prosecutor to ask to have the defendant taken into custody following the plea deal. They didn't do that.

Liberals think fixing that is racist.

Problem is, it's not qualified. It's closer to absolute. They'll just claim.

"Officials may not be held liable if the law was not clear at the time of their actions."

This is the 9th criminal that Judge Hillary Unger has freed on bond that has gone onto murder someone.

If she died tonight, the world would be a better place.
