Never understood these groups. They are obsessed with the "process" of government, even if their commitment to the process results in their own demise. They are not results driven at all, they are perfectly OK with driving off the cliff, as long as the road signs are pointing towards the cliff, and everyone has their seat belt on.

If the other side was even remotely concerned about dutifully following the rules, ok maybe we should as well. But it's like being in a fight with one arm tied behind our backs and the opponent has a knife and has thrown sand in our eyes. And our only concern is rule checking ourselves.

At this point, we just need to dissolve the beurocracy and completely obliterate all federal NGOs. The illegals need to be shipped out en masse, it just needs to happen. Stop waiting on some unconstitutional ruling from some Marxist judge in Maine. Who cares?

If these people were really principled, they would be saying "yeah I may disagree with tariffs but I do like the steps taken towards reducing govt spending"

The people we are seeing on these boards are legitimately TDS or just insanely selfish. Fixing the trade imbalance in incredibly important

Yet you constantly remind the board how you vote for both Massie and Paul.

Libs fight dirty.

Our "principled" conservatives refuse to do so.

They insist we put everything through Congress.
Rinos then frick it all up.
Nothing gets accomplished.

This is actually what I say about ‘conservative’ Republicans all the time. Y’all vote for socialism light every four years and do a victory lap if you win. Meanwhile, we are deeper in debt and have less freedoms every fricking year.

I am uneasy about the executive enacting tariffs at will. The use of the national emergency for fentanyl is very shaky grounds to put tariffs on EU and Japan. Now using it to put tariffs on China, Canada, Mexico I would agree with because that is how it is getting in the country.

But what happens when a progressive/liberal/marxist gets in the white house. They can write EO's to change all the trans stuff, change all tariff policy destroy our economy and partner economies.

I like the idea of these reciprocating tariffs to get the countries to reduce theirs. But what happens when another administration blows it up the other direction. I don't agree with what some of the GOP are doing, if they don't like it pass a bill with tariffs. Or how about get a budget.

Are you talking about the types that will defend the Constitutional right of moslims to destroy our nation, moving our society towards sharia law?? Essentially destroying the Constitution they are fighting to defend.

These folks are stuck in the Regan area where things were civilized. Those days have long been over and they still don't get it.

The ultimate goal is for your people to survive and thrive.

Government is a system devised to meet that goal and is subordinate to it.

When government no longer serves that goal, or even works against it, it is government that must be altered, reformed, or abolished.

I realize the Constitution is slowly becoming tattered but that's how it's supposed to work. It's how it used to work but gerrymandering has made it impossible for the people to make meaningful change in their representation. I truly believe America is at the tipping point and there's no going back. We've become a winner take all society.

The 2 headed coin, has the same face.

The country needs to be handled like a private business.

Not a welfare state for other countries.

It's a vote against the alternative, too.

I have some big libertarian beliefs, and I also believe in “by any means necessary”, because that’s what the globalists/marxists believe.

Anything else is surrender.

There's a few handfuls that post here and they have to let everyone know they exist and their opinion on everything Trump does.

They often forget about one of Friedman's comments:

quote:

"It's just obvious you can't have free immigration and a welfare state,"

The welfare state isn't going anywhere in our lifetimes, if ever, and the hard Libertarians forget that we can only hope to control the other side of the equation at this point.

It's a crazy lunatic that doesn't/can't understand this.
