Polaris ranger crew 570

Has anyone had any reviews or experience with the Polaris ranger crew 570? Looking for a crew just concerned if the 570 is big enough or should I just spend the extra money for the 1000?

I’m sure the 570 is fine for most stuff.
I’ve got a tiny pecker so I’m always compensating and say get the1000.

Unless you are going to tow stuff and want the power steering option the 570 is fine. Only guy I know that NEEDED the 1000 was using it to launch his boat off a river bank.

The two major differences are gonna be in acceleration and the suspension. The 570s can do mid-30s which is where most folks are going to naturally top out on speed anyway doing normal hunting sxs stuff, but the 1000 will get you up to cruising speed a lot faster and eat up bumps a lot better. The 570 will be noticeably louder both during acceleration and cruising, though not obnoxious. I know you want someone to tell you if it’s worth it but it’s really gonna come down to how you plan to use it and how much those things piss you off. The 1000, but not XP, was worth it for me cause I have a heavy foot and haul a lot and didn’t see a huge gap in performance up to the XP.

The 570 is tiny. You will never regret going bigger. The 570 at our farm has gotten stuck in wet grass before

I use mine daily on our property. Hauling trash, hauling tools, tow a small trailer picking up limbs and whatnot. Riding the pasture and woods to check on stuff. In that capacity the 570 is fine. It's not fast, and I'd never call it sporty. It doesn't feel under powered. If I were planning to tow things around, or had property that was hilly I would go with a 1000.

I’ve got a 2014 model and it’s used almost daily as well. We pull a small utility trailer occasionally and our place has elevation changes of 100’ in a few spots. It carries four adults easily and sometimes more. I’m gonna keep ours till it drops dead.

Although not the crew, I have a 2023 570 full size. I’ve had 2 adults and a child in the seat with 300-400 pounds of corn, chainsaw, and other tools doing work at the camp. I’ve never had issues. I don’t mud ride for fun and it handles muddy ditches and roads well with that load. Just wish it sat higher. I have larger tires which added a little lift. I have busted the plastic floor board twice. I added skid plates and this year a damn stick broke through about an inch before the skid plate started. Overall it’s enough power for me.

The price difference between the 570 and1000 (non XP) is usually close enough for the 1000 to be worth it. The difference in the an arms, cv shafts, bushings etc make it worth it to me. Add in that the 1000 comes standard with the roof and winch and it’s a no brainer in my opinion.

Thanks for info. Can’t make up my mind. Also thinking about going look at the cfmoto have heard good things and they are significantly cheaper.

The 570 is narrower and lighter weight than the full size. It’s just a lighter duty vehicle, fine for many people. Stock they top out at almost 50mph but with a tune and a clutch kit you can get to about 60mph.
If you want to haul a bunch of shite and load it down with a bunch of fat chicks you need the full size. The “regular” 1000 is fine but why not go 1000XP for a minimal upcharge? With mine I can pull a 20ft trailer loaded with rocks and dirt (slowly, in low range) and without a trailer it’ll do well into the 70mph range. I bet it would do 80+ (in fairness it is tuned and has a clutch kit).
I too was about to buy a 570 and at the last minute I splurged and got the 1000XP and I very happy with that decision. I very often use all the seats and load the bed down the max on camping trips and hunting and sporting clay tournaments.

I had a 2015 full size crew 570. I ran the hell out of it. Only issue I had was I had to replace the rear axles. I had plenty of power for what I needed. I used it to pull a 44” swisher cutter to cut my 14 acre lake levee. Did that job just fine. It’s loud compared to the 1000 and ride isn’t as good but not bad.

570 vs 1000
I would check aftermarket lifts for the 570 you may not mud ride but you will want some ground clearance. That flat bottom on these things will suction cup to the mud & hang you up on logs/stumps.
XP1000 Crew here, I ran 32" tires & a 3" lift gave me 15" clearance worked fine but our camp has a lot of high water coming over the seats and chest deep in some parts, drown your machine in others.
I added a bigger lift & 40" tires has 29" of clearance now & the water comes up mid shins. Still deep enough to drown it in others.
Speed is stupid on these things "in the woods" especially. On hard pack dirt road, in stock configuration top end with the short wheelbase is not a "safe combination." Someone other than you will get on it & flip it. My friends nephew did his, in his big yard = Ambulance broken leg. Do what you will.
Know this they sell these things on fun factor. The frames on these are feather light duty and will fold up on you quicker than a cat can lick it's arse. I'm talking light duty bed frame material with pencil thing control arms along with everything else.

The 570 is a great motor in an atv... It does not belong in a side by side.
Get the 1000.
Go test drive em and make the sales guy drive them toward you and away from you. The 570 is rattly as shite.

It's chinese shite. Everyone who has one of the new ones is still in the honeymoon phase thinking they are great.
Wiring sucks. You won't be able to get parts. It's a shite product.

My BIL loves his. My only complaint would be the clutching. A clutch kit would do those bikes wonders.
It seems like they are getting better and more popular but I am still unsure if I would buy one yet.

We have this model and have had no issues with it. Been able to go through muddy fields as well as through our hunting areas with 4 people and a deer with no issues. It has more top end speed than we need for the short distance we drive on the highway. Great utility vehicle in my opinion.

My 25 1000XP will only hit 64. It feels like it wants more. What tune and clutch kit did you go with. I don't need or really want to go any faster, but just curious.
