Of course Zion is out. Dude can't even stay healthy the one time in his adult life that he looks healthy

The season was over like a month ago. Keeping him out for "illness" is one of the proper ways to tank.

Zion just needs to take the year off. Honestly, I don't know how he gets away with this, Griffin is an idiot.

Interesting, he did a sit down q and a at the season ticket holder event around 330 today and seemed completely fine.

Gets away with what? Getting sick? What a POS for not being a robot

Could be why they have him questionable, maybe the flu but may not be bad.

A couple national writers were saying there’s a nasty flu bug going around in the league earlier last week

If it’s the one I just recovered from, Zion just lost another 10 lbs.

Isn’t this dude’s contract tied to how many games he plays?

If he misses a threshold by a game or 2 bc the team is holding him out with a fake flu (to tank) or due to his suspension? Sitting back to backs after only playing 24 mins a night?

What happens there? We still going to guarantee the next 20% threshold in his contract or are we going to play hardball and he’s going to force a trade?

I’m confused about this aspect.

He’s already lost out on money this season due to the hamstring. I can’t imagine he’s okay with missing out on more games that he is healthy enough to play.

He hasn't lost any money, just guarantees. Team won't cut him, so it's kind of moot from what I understand.

Yeah but we'll beat Utah anyway without him.
I'd rather he sit out the next game aganst the Bucks.

We may do well in our next (5) games against Utah, MIL, MEM, TOR, CHA

But after that.... This is our next (24) games

Spurs x3
SAC x3
DAL x2
DEN x2
MIN x2
HOU x2
DET x2
PHX x2

Boston
OKC
LAL
MEM
LAC
Utah

So essentially 23 playoff teams and Utah in a 24 games stretch.

Even if we somehow go 14-10 on that stretch (we won't) then we would have to go 10-5 for the next (5) games and the last (10) games of the season to even talk about a possible play in.

It will never happen.
