Best commonly available gin?

I know this is a vague question as there’s a lot of different flavors/levels of botanical infusion etc, but what’s your favorite?
I like Botanist for martinis, Tanqueray for low level stuff like gin & Sprite(commoner taste, I know)
Can’t do Bombay anymore, tastes like a very BAD experience I had at a college party

Hendricks probably. I had some Monkey 47 a few months ago that I thought was pretty good as well

We like Roku for martinis and you can't go wrong with Hendricks for other drinks.

Nolet followed by Hendricks.

I like Hendricks but prefer the Irish Gunpowder gin. It's rare that I drink gin though

Monkey 47 is great. Made in Germany. I also recommend Eden Mill Golf Gin. Made in St. Andrew's. Eden Mill makes several gins. Great stuff for sipping straight or in a dry martini with a twist.

My God, man! At least use 7-up!
And a small spritz from a fresh lemon or a twist will make it pop.

Sprite is better than 7 up. It has a little lime in it.

Kirkland is very good for the price

I tend to drink gin and Fresca with a lime twist. It’s a refreshing drink, especially in summertime, with just a hint of bitterness from the grapefruit flavor of the Fresca. I enjoy gin with some cotrus in the flavor profile for this. Drumshanbo citrus is good. Recently picked up a bottle of Mermaid which I found to be very tasty. Have tried one of the violet gin’s (can’t remember off the top of my head which one) but though it had a little seafood/shrimp essence to it. I wasn’t a fan. Maybe I just didn’t drink it in the right cocktail.

Forget the fad, popular just because, great advertising, etc. and just go with tried and true Seagram's.
And a little known secret...go get some Sam's gin and come back and tell me it isn't as good as overblown Kendricks.

I think gin is a lot like Champagne in that the large production offerings from well established producers are generally very very good. If you like the traditional juniper forward profile, Beefeater and Tanqueray are consistent and high quality. If I had to drink only one gin for the rest of my life, it would probably be one of those two.

These two are delicious and available at most places for under $40

I brought a bottle of Roku to a Brit's house for Thanksgiving, and he really liked it. Other than that, the only one I can stand is Aviation.

I love a Gin mule with diet ginger beer and the Grey Whale gin. I find that flavor profile works best with the ginger, very refreshing. The Mermaid goes well too. Hendrick's is a bit too cucumber-y for it. Also tried a pink gin from Total Wine that was awesome.

Beefeater and Boodles are my 2 go-tos.
