Last night's 0z run of the European model:

It's only one run of one model but shows the potential with the upcoming pattern

Snowfall totals thru hour 306 (valid at noon on Friday Jan 10th)

LINK

Needless to say this would be an epic snowstorm and would unfortunately shut down parts of the Deep South if it and the modeled temperatures were to verify

It’s hilarious, and I’m here for it.

It'll end up being 50-28 with a 15% chance of flurries. The weather people do this shite so they get attention.

I'll believe it when it happens.

Models are terrible when it comes to snowfall even a day out. Two weeks out? Way to early to get worried/hopeful.

You won't even need to wait that long. Looks like I spoke too soon and jinxed it because the 12z run of the Euro that just completed and shows a completely different look. Tennessee and North Carolina get a solid 4-6 inches of snow while the rest of the Deep South gets nada

It will change from run to run obviously but if you want snow you gotta hope the latest Euro run was a glitch and not the start of a trend.

Depending on where you look it is already nothing. The Euro has 13-16" of snow across AL into GA. The GFS has......nothing.

Same here.

It’s literally 2 weeks out. At least we won’t have the window washer effect with a tropical system where it goes:
Mississippi River
Texas
Florida
And repeat the cycle.

When do we get the sticky…
