What’s a real conservative solution to fix healthcare?

We all can agree the ACA was a mess.
Now how to fix it?
Many say trust the free market but after the ACA the free market will choose to keep the same system due to massive benefits. What is an actual proposal to make healthcare more affordable and bring down massive co pays

The real truth is there isnt one at least not some type of sweep all one soliton it might be able to be made better with incremental positive steps. but at the end of the day do you want what we have where I can see my GP any day if I need to without appointment and any specialty things are never more than like 4-6 weeks out or the NHS and Canada where people are waiting 12 months for a GP visit, dying of cancer on waiting list, and canada is killing its own people under the guise of assisted suicide to not have to pay their bills

Cut bullshite jobs in healthcare.
Bring in foreign physicians and nurses.
Reform malpractice.
Force drug companies to stop subsidizing cheap overseas costs w high prices here.
Lots more stuff.

Truth in billing would be a good start. The frickery with the wide variance in the cost of procedures/care is a problem. There is no standard.

I would suggest something like the following analogy to auto insurance:
You need disaster protection against car crashes and tornadoes and the like. With cars, you by auto insurance for this. For health care, I would say have US Gov provide catastrophe insurance for all Americans.
You need to service your car daily - gas, wiper fluid, etc. You pay cash for these items. For health care, same thing. Small items, you handle yourself.
For medium sized items - repairs, etc. you use credit. Same with healthcare.
Basically, take the extreme risks away, put the small stuff on the individual.
But crucially, this system would involve creating ACTUAL PRICE TRANSPARENCY. If people are paying for shite, they need to know what it costs. Imagine going to get a tank of gas, and the gas station tells you "oh, we don't know what the actual price is". That's sort of how it is now in healthcare due to the warping influence of insurance.

I don't know that there is a single solution.
There is a ton of smaller things that could be done, however. Which is probably alot more attainable than trying to replace the entire system at once.

Might be impossible to do, but this makes a lot of sense.

I think if we would increase copays to a minimum of $200 or maybe even $500 then maybe you would think about it before getting a doctor because you had a small rash or headache. I know poor folks will squeal on this but that would cut out a lot of the BS visits. Most of us pay a lot more insurance to cover costs for the poor that don't pay hardly anything. And then you might think about getting a cheaper service like a doc-in-a-box or teledoc.

everything changed when doctors were no longer serving as the administration for their offices and hospital systems.
You now have nothing but profit incentived people running them and the docs dont have to take the blame for the skyrocketing costs.

Honestly, If I were dictator, I would tell the healthcare industry that in 1 year 90% of government regulation will be repealed and to prepare for market adjustments.
The system is so screwed at this point, that any free market solution (the only plausible solutions) will turn the healthcare industry on its head. All we can do is give the market a fair warning to prepare for the dramatic increase in demand (resulting form lower prices).

Something has to be done about the slimy shell game that is billing/payment. The negotiated payments by insurance companies that are often many times lower than the billing is bullshite.

A free option for the basics to appease the poors and commies.
A private supplemental add on option for the whites and working class.
This is what the Aussies do, and probably half of Europe and Asia.
