bullshite that the Ds get spotted 55 EVs before the election even starts every single time and the Rs have to work doubletime to reign that in.

That would be five Democrat senators in the Senate at a minimum maybe a Republican Could win a Senate race in the Southern California you've defined maybe
but Democrats would dominate California and Northern California that would just give them more U S Senators

That would be a bad breakdown.
California and Northern CA with Sacramento and the Bay Area would always go Blue and there would be 4 permanent Dem senate seats.
Southern California could break either way.

I’m not sure a mass deportation possibly happens but if it did, when the census is counted in 2030 CA would probably lose 10 EV’s

If California ever gets split, it needs to be east/west instead of north/south.
Much better chance of splitting the senators.
Granted west would have over 40 electoral votes.

Just stop counting illegal immigrants in the US census and they likely lose 10 Electoral College votes.
