Wait until the repos start hitting the used car market. The delinquency rates are consistently climbing q/q and at some point the banks are going to have to act.

I saw one the other day and started to look just for fun.

I can't bring myself to even entertain the idea of paying 70K plus for a truck.

Well yeah, most manufacturers are swimming in inventory. I would be very cautious about buying new vehicles being built right now. All these union issues and I'm guessing they are leaving bolts out of cars on purpose. Looking at you Dodge.

You can't in Louisiana. Gotta go out of state to get a new Tesla. Stupid Louisiana laws requiring dealership involvement

Hard to do that when they need to sell overpriced to subsidize the sub-sofr rates.

Which is why I’m still rolling a 12 yr old F250 with 220k miles. Paid $50k for it new same truck today knocking on $100k it’s sickening and I refuse to spend that much on a vehicle.

I guess they'll have to get used to carrying costs that'll never end.

$30k for a normal truck and $45-60k for the elite top end.... is what most people remember and perceive as reasonable.

$60k for a normal truck and $90-120k for the elite top end... is difficult to manage at any interest rate because salaries haven't doubled in the same 10-year timeframe.

I’m in a similar boat. 2013 Silverado with 130k that I wouldn’t mind upgrading. But at current prices I’m riding till the wheels fall off.

On trucks, should get more than 15K off to start. I see them advertised around here up to 20K, and you know if they are advertising that, there is more room.

They should just lower the price and sell them for that someone would buy.

Jesus. I could use the extra space for sure from a full sized but I'm keeping my Ranger until the wheels fall off.

It's a gimic. They just sell vehicle for higher price than they would have with 7.9% financing, etc.

Truck prices have come down from high as frick to just high with the incentives being offered. Still most regular crew cab trucks are pushing 55-60k

But I can get 1.99%!

Juice the MSRP and lower the interest rate

American consumers “wow I can afford that 10 year note on a new Tahoe now!!”

Do you honestly expect car prices to stay stagna t over 12 years? Name anything that is the same price it was 12 years ago?
