I stayed, but I was in the shade most of the time.

That heat was brutal. Those people on the east side were in 93-degree heat with the sun beating down upon them.
I know people who left because they were afraid they were going to get heat stroke. I will give them a pass on this one.

What were some of the hottest games that compared to this one?

Games that I went to that were hot were the 1995 Auburn game and the 2004 Miss St game

I heard that 2005 Tennessee game was miserable

I have to vote for the 2004 Oregon State season opener. It was *hot*. Then it *poured*. Then it was *hot* AND *steamy*. Ugh.

Auburn 2015. Leonard Fournette didn't mind

My hottest was somewhere around 2010 when we played Florida. Sat on the east side and baked.

Not Tiger Stadium but 2011 and 2013 Jerry World were the hottest games I've ever been to. Easy 104 outside the stadium. There are no trees just a massive parking lot to tailgate in. There was no escape, just 105 outside and nothing to cover under. I was in college and foot loose fancy. A girl I interacted with. The smell on my fingers from 105 heat all day. Never again.

North Texas 2012 too.

This isn’t new. East side gets roasted.

Jerry World?

It was open?

I have been to one game in that stadium (LSU-Oregon) and the roof was closed and it was air conditioned.

I'm talking about the parking lot tailgating. Dallas in late August or Sept 1 gets to 105 if hasn't rained lately. It was all of 105 pre-game. Then the reflection off of Jerry World from the sun made it even worse in the parking lot.

The 2017 game against Auburn (where LSU came from far behind to win) wasn't the hottest game ever but I think it was the hottest October game.

Not really sunny that day but that great 2003 game vs UGA was sweltering. High humidity and zero air movement. But 2005 Tenn was awful as well. Night game but brutal humidity.

That opening game against App State. They moved it earlier in the day because a hurricane was coming. Hottest game I’ve ever experienced at Tiger Stadium.

I feel every game moved up or back for a hurricane has been incredibly hot (Tennessee, app state, etc)

Utah State in 2019 at 11AM was brutally hot. But kinda cool to think it was Jordan Love vs Joe Burrow

Was on the west side Saturday so it wasn’t too bad, but we had several people come over from the east side trying to find seats. One older fella said he’s been coming to games since a kid and that’s the most brutal it’s ever been

Probably not the hottest but I remember having a pretty bad sunburn after the 11am Tenn game in 2022. Also, the 2013 Florida game at 230 sticks out. Was on the east side for that one

Easy one. 2001 season opener against tulane. At 7 pm kickoff it was 99 degrees. They ran out of water in the entire stadium by halftime. Needless to say, we left at halftime and I haven't been back in August or September since.

Auburn fan next to me to drinking Jack and coke like it's the last supper. Right around LF7 big run I asked him how can you drink whiskey as hot as it is? He responded did you just see your RB murder our entire team,
