Not sure if already posted. Really cool interview with Saban saying that leaving LSU was biggest career mistake. Wow. I guess theres some real legitimacy about Saban recommending LSU to Kiffin.

I always thought this dude was a complete joke, but I actually have the ever so slightest bit of respect for him now.
That dude has stalked this board for coaching info in the past btw. He was active on here for the Jimbo Fisher drama...then Alleva decided that Miles could change and gave him another year lol
Damn, as someone who went to both LSU and Auburn, that was especially painful to pull for Alabama tonite. I feel like i need to go to confession tomorrow or something.
Damn, that still remains the biggest letdown of all time.

I caught this show in Laguna Beach a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't get more "surf music" than this. Hell, the greatest surfer of all time is even on the stage banging a tamborine.

I forgot to ask about the LA shows. I went to the Saturday show. We were even closer this time than at Cardiff show. We were a few feet away from the crying chick that made the album cover

yeah, not questioning they were bigger in the UK... Even this tour, they did 5 nights in their hometown of Manchester and 5 in Wembley.. they probably could have doubled those dates given the ticket demand..

They probably could have tripled the London and Manchester dates. When the shows were announced, there were 14 million people worldwide that were vying for 1.4 million tickets total. Most people were online for 10 or more hours and still didn't get tickets. Pretty insane for a band that hasn't been around for 16 years.

Taking my super fan 7 year old to Roger’s stadium in Toronto tonight.

Figured it would be most mellow of all the shows and had airline miles. Way cheaper than any other show

How was the show? Looked like you guys got some rain.

I've got tickets to LA Sat night show in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it again!
Thanks for posting. I kinda dig this. Love some shoegaze.

Awesome pics! I was in Manchester the night of the first Cardiff show. We found an Oasis-themed bar to go hang out, and they were broadcasting a livestream from the concert. There were about a hundred or so folks there all getting hammered and singing their lungs out. It was almost like being at the show itself. Caught a train to cardiff the next morning, arrived in cardiff around noon and headed straight to the stadium for ticket upgrade. (Someone told me they were at the first show and they gave out about 5000-6000 complimentary upgrades to "golden circle" if you had a regular general admission ticket.) Got the ticket upgrade, went to my air bnb for a nap, and strolled into the stadium about 10 min before Ashcroft started (I saw Cast last year for LG Def Maybe show and had no need to sit thru that again lol.) And we still managed to get pretty close. We could see the band fine without the screens. But my left eardrum was buzzing for a few days after...it was loud af

Love Sam Fender. Some of his earlier stuff sounds 80s-ish, like Angel of Lothian and Hypersonic Missles. Hes a huge Tom Petty/Bruce Springsteen fan.

Agree 100%. Best band to come along in a long time. Caught them in Nola several months ago and the show was great.

Televised Mind is another banger from them.

And a gratuitous pic of Zach Bryan joining Turnpike Troubadours onstage in a very small venue in London
