Bernie Sanders is an a-hole, but he has more legitimate grass roots support than Kamala Harris.

it really is amusing the Dems haven’t really picked their candidate since 2008
-2012 was Obama incumbent
-2016 was Her Turn (she may have won anyway, but they absolutely changed everything to prevent Bernie with the process and super delegates)
-2020 Biden was installed after Covid after getting trounced in all three caucuses/primaries before
-2024 Harris installed

He won the first three primaries with less than 50% of the vote as the front runner… it was simple math that when the field got down to two, more than 50% were not voting for him

I’ve been saying this for a decade.
With honest primaries Bernie Sanders would’ve won the last three cycles.
The DNC base is majority socialist and has been since 2016.
The DNC apparatus just rigs their primaries to make sure the plebes don’t get to actually choose their candidate and their base just deals with it.
