Russia vows retaliation against US for Ukraine's ATACMS missile attack on Crimea

For as much as I dislike Trump, the one thing I give him credit for is keeping us out of foreign conflicts. Everyone was trying to drag him into Syria and he said no. Everyone is trying to drag us into a shooting war with Russia. I think Trump could keep us out.

What options for retaliation do they have? A direct response to NATO or the US would be disproportionate.
Do they assist the many jihadist groups in the middle east with targeting packages, intel?
Or, directly target Ukraine senior leadership and dare the west to react.
Either way, I would say it's clear that the intended targets were Russian military assets in Sevastopol, near the beach. However, that's the danger we created by providing UKR with ATACMS and HIMARS. They knew damn well that this could escalate, and here we are.

If Biden gets re-elected no doubt this thing keeps spiraling into boots on the ground from western nations. Must manufacture global conflict for the MIC
