What Old Money families rule your Town/Parish?

One guy in my golf group has big time "F-YOU" money but no clue where he ranks in Mandeville or all of St Tammany. He's got to be up there though.

Lots of people have F-you money in Mandeville. Few wield any power at all though.

Ezekiel Beauregard and his sons Finch and Hastings have instituted a virtual reign of genteel orderly peace in these parts. Not like these Thompson's colts and other ne'er do wells that rule the big cities. I suppose I am quite pleased with their wise leadership, specially whereabouts it has to do with tariffs concernin' local commerce and the organization of proper garden parties.

In wichita, the Koch family. They do wield some political presence in the city (basically paid for our mayor that recently took office) but overall they invest a lot into the city and are, I would say, a net positive to the community.

Also the Stevens family (own Genesis Health Clubs, Spangles restraints, and a bunch of other odd restraints/businesses). They’re kinda scummy though. Have a reputation for some local storefronts having “random” fires happen when they’re no longer profitable. Also have had some run ins with local law enforcement and it always just magically disappears.

Needless to say, they are joos.
