Building high density apartment complexes in affluent suburbs

They're building a 650 unit apartment complex that will feed into my kids' school district and will include some units for low income. This used to be a semi rural area.
No cultcha. Low to no crime.
This is a very affluent area. There are not many jobs here. It's total bullshite that these cities are bussing their problems into our neighborhoods.
We have good public schools but they're going to frick it all up. Pisses me off.
People are fighting but I don't see how it will get stopped. Just ranting really.
Anyone have experience stopping shite like this?

You should support education reform that doesn't pay for local schools with local property taxes and instead treats all of our students equally, and then parents seeking good education for their children won't have to move to your neighborhood

Unfortunately, federal and state governments have tied municipal funding to accepting lower income housing. It's insidious, but here we are.

Kind of dealing with that where I live. Buy the place and a year later I'm just watching apartment complexes get built on the same road. I wonder who's gonna update all the infrastructure, but then get depressed when the local government will rolling in it and spend it on useless shite programs for shite people.

I seriously doubt that these people are moving for education. It's for free rent in a brand new apartment that they can destroy

If I could go back in time, I would tell JP government to only zone everything as R1, those apartments they built in the 70's and 80's are pretty much slums now.
