14000 to 7000. That is 7000 CHILDREN killed. How disgusting. That is like having 15 schools with a shooter going in and executing every child in the building. How is this ok? How are we ok with this but we get upset at an elementary school shooting that kills 20 kids? You see the disparity? I'm not ok with this.

According to an organization whose propaganda arm feeds the western media what they want to hear. Even if the number is only inflated by 100%, there is a FAFO factor. Hamas doesn't allow people to evacuate, uses human shields, etc.

Would have been near 0 if Hamas didn’t use them as human shields (look it up if you don’t believe me; they always put women and children in close proximity to their operations most likely to be attacked).

If anyone needed schooling in crisis actors, there are years of footage of Syrians/Hamas, etc., filming "dead" bodies on stretchers only to see the same supposedly dead people show up on social media a week later, alive. The intended social media influence is anti Western, whether Israel, the US, or Russia, are the target.
And just like US crime statistics, some 15 year old that has been in a Hamas battalion (like a Chicago gang) for two years will be counted as a child, even though the kid has fired plenty of rounds at live people.
But, like "data" coming out of China in 2020/21, which also had no independent verification, it means nothing. NGOs in both cases simply repeat claims that are published, it gets them more funding to "help." Who is counting body bags? Where are the burials happening? Remember, it's important to Muslims to bury their dead within a day just like with observant Jews.

You'd be even more frustrated than you are now, if you heard some of the shite I did working in Brussels with the EU. Whatever you think about this discussion, it's worse than you expect in the EU. Everyone in a position of any influence is essentially Greta Thunberg.
Everyone in the EU in Brussels is a statist and globalist. One of my last weeks there, there was a terrorism symposium in my hotel. None of it covered Islamic and Marxist terrorism. The schedule was all about whites, Christians, and nationalists (long live euro cheese!) For 2/3 days. Meanwhile, the station I took to work was bombed and rebuilt years earlier. But, priorities.

How many of this children are 15-18 yr old rifle carrying combatants? These numbers can be skewed easily just as they are in the US with gun related deaths.

It’s not.
However, your analogy is lacking.
A prequel to your narrative would be that the parents of those 7000 students knew that their child was going to be killed at school that day, and yet chose to send them anyway.
I pray for the souls of the deceased.
