Window Tint

Does anyone have Limo tint on their front side windows? I have a tint exemption now, but I’m worried if limo is too dark at night for backing up.

Had it on my yukon growing up (thought it was cool at the time).
It's stupid and dangerous

Been doing it for 18 years now. Roll your windows down when backing up if necessary.

Had it since my first vehicle 25 years ago. Never hit anything because of the tint being too dark.
That being said, 5% is pretty damn dark. No need to go more than 20% on top of what is already there from the factory. Roll them down if you need extra piece of mind, but you should be fine.

Limo tint is too dark for 99% of drivers. Cold Mornings suck when you have to roll down your windows to see your side mirrors as well. A light tint on the front window greatly reduces the glare and star vision at night though, very helpful for night clarity.

I've had 5% all around and 50% on windshield on every vehicle I've had. Can't imagine not having it. Makes road trips and daily driving much more enjoyable.

I have 35% on my fronts and darker on the back. I find it’s too dark at times. Especially when towing at night / early morning.

I just do 15% on my front windows now. Enough privacy but still enough visibility at night

I had 5% around and 20% on front window on my single cab Silverado as a young man. No way I could see at nite now. I matched the front windows to the factory on my current truck and it’s good for me.

I had it on a work car once. I had to roll the windows down at night.

I have limo on my front driver and passenger side, and all the way around.
I would never put limo tint on my front windshield.

did it when young, but will NOT do it again. Too dark at night.
I usually match 20% on front windows to match the factory back windows.

How did you get an exemption?

Are you in Louisiana?

I have legit medical issues and was denied.

What kind of tint does the OB suggest. Too many options. Thanks.
