Both my kids are in Vestavia schools and we have many teacher friends. She is a nice person but there is more to the story that isn’t out and likely will not be disclosed.
Our Superintendent is not an idiot. He wouldn’t expose the school system to a multimillion dollar lawsuit by disciplining an employee for being gay. Use some sense people.

I haven’t heard it anywhere else but my son told me they fired the Vestavia HS principle for sleeping with a coworker today.
And she was about to retire in a month!

Exactly. It’s been known for years. My son had her as a principal. She’s a very nice person but this had nothing to do with her being lesbian.

Just a hypothetical based on what your son reported….
If they fired her for cause based on violating policy for fraternization with a subordinate…and she and the subordinate had the same plumbing, they better make very sure that there we no cases where the participants were heterosexual and got lesser or no punishment.

She was probably just incompetent at her job and is using her being gay as a cope for being moved. A lot of these liberal types tend to do this.
My kids went to a school with a gay male principal here in Lafayette. You didn't know he was gay unless you looked at his Facebook profile picture. He was also a SUPER effective principle and improved its rating every year.
