Hell yea...being retired is awesome.

Our soft arse 1st world society has sold the false premise there’s a decent chance of obtaining a career / job you’ll love in adulthood. Bullshite.
Personally I can attest that I don’t legitimately hate my job. Had previous jobs that I genuinely loathed and would curse the gawds every morning prior to commuting to said employment. Over the last decade and half, I can honestly say that I don’t hate my job and more often than not enjoy it.
There’s less than 1% of 1% of individuals who truly love their jobs / careers. And I imagine the majority of those folks quasi retired individuals who’re employed just to be busy or have a reason to wake up every morning so they found a gig that aligns with their hobbies.

I have days where I hate it, and also days where I don't mind it at all. I've been doing this for 25 years now though, and everything gets old eventually.

Do you legitimately enjoy your job?
Absolutely. I wouldn't be in it otherwise.

I have 3 jobs. Most of the time things go smoothly and I enjoy my work. Sometimes it is like 3 people sharing one bathroom and all having diarrhea at the same time.

For a job it's ok, but I'd rather play golf or fish all day. I'd even take a pay cut.

No. But I’m the business owner so not having to answer to anyone outweighs it.

Yep I did until heath reasons preventing me from doing strenuous outdoors work made me retire. I was a good thing in that I enjoy retirement.

Yes, I get a free meal everyday.

Out of 43 years for me in my job I truly disliked it for about 15 years. I truly loved it otherwise. Disliking the job was usually based on upper level management at the time and perhaps a couple of supervisors played into it. For the last 7 years of my job it was totally rewarding and very satisfying.

Love my job and I haven't been able to say that in a long time.

Most of the time, yes. There are days though, when I would give it to the next swinging dick that came along.

I don't dread work, but I also don't necessarily like being there. If I was smoking weed all day making the same income I'd do it.

Yep, I’ve been coaching w/the 3 same guys for over 21 years. Makes a difference who you work with for sure!

I always enjoyed what I did but what got to me was all the emails and stupid things you had to do to stay employed.
