Which one should I get in 2024? Inb4 get a 15.

Most important thing is GB space. I don’t care about the camera. Battery life matters somewhat but anything will be better than this pos I have right now. Smaller is preferable so I can take it out my pockets easier. Is the 13 really worth it

Overpriced just like the 12. You're paying several hundreds for the brand alone.

I think they still make the small version of the 12. Battery life is less than the full size though.

The only real difference between the two is if you get the 13 pro with a 120hz refresh rate. It really makes a difference when scrolling the web, watching video that supports 120hz, and gaming.

Main difference between a 12 and newer gen iPhones is that the newer gen has an eSIM and no physical SIM card.. that started with either iPhone 13 or 14, cant remember which.. im about to upgrade from my 12 for that reason alone, otherwise id keep it til it dies .

12 & 13 won’t be supported for very much longer. Look it up.

Get the newest one you can afford. You want to future proof yourself with best possible processor.

I recently jumped from 13 to 14. The biggest screen Pro Max or whatever in both. Both phones ended up getting repaired because of cracked screens. The iPhone 13 shattered its back glass, and the 14 is on its second set of camera lenses. Maybe just dumb luck, but I've never had a major problem with the iPhone glassworks before those two models.

Just one screen repair over the past decade when the phone fell out of my pocket while climbing a pole. It landed face-down on concrete, but a buddy of mine had the parts to fix it on the tailgate of his truck. These last several repairs have required trips to the Apple Store and hours of wasted time.

OTOH, my dad has a 15 (standard size model), and it seems to be withstanding the usual bumps and bruises our farm dishes out.

TL;DR: Steer clear of 13-14.

I have a 12 and it is fine for my needs. Probably will not get a 15 unless my 12 craps out.

I tried to get the the 15pm with 1tb but they were out of stock. Had to get 512gb. I use up the storage pretty quickly.

I like the mini models (SM) but they seldom put the better cameras in those or have large storage.

Just get a newer se model. Smaller, cheaper, and pretty much the same minus a few features. Not missing anything really life changing.
