Assuming you mean Custom Trail Boss. It’s just a work truck with upgrades and a suspension, but I love mine.

I couldn’t afford an LTD and didn’t care for doing my own upgrades.

Edit: but the stereo sucks and it doesn’t just come with steering wheel controls.

It's a Silverado Z71 with coil spacers and better looking wheels and tires.

I have a 22 Trail Boss LT with the 6.2 liter.

Love it.

Previous was 19 Trail Boss with the smaller v-8. Loved it as well.

Good looking and represents a decent value. You’ll be happy with it

It’s a Silverado. It’s a good, solid truck if you maintain it well. That model has a G80 locker and some extra skid plates and ground clearance for off roading. But it also has an off road focused (softer) suspension that will limit towing over other Silverado models.

IMO the diesel is the way to go if you have a long commute. Otherwise the 5.3 is a perfectly fine, albeit old school engine. The 6.2 is pretty awesome but I think it needs 91 octane to produce the advertised power output.

I’m a fan. They are good looking rigs.

I really like those. Very good trucks, and the best bang for the buck in its class in terms of costs of ownership per 10,000 miles of expected lifespan.

The Toyota Tundra is the best alternative if the Chevy dealers aren’t playing ball.

Had a 21 LT Trail Boss. Loved it, great truck. 5.3 and 10 speed is a great combination.

Get the 5.3 with the 10 Speed and you'll be fine on the power train. The infotainment system is another story.

I've got a 2020 custom trail boss with 5.3 V8, it is a good truck. i have about 60,000 miles on it and it has never been in the shop.

As most have said it isn't something fancy just a Z71 with an upgraded level kit and nice wheels. i prefer my truck without all of the gadgets inside, fewer things for me to break.

I have a 2021 Trail Boss, 5.3. No problems whatsoever. I didn't want anything fancy, which is why I chose the Custom. Dealership gave me $1000 for accessories, so I got step boards and trailer brake controller installed. made quite a few trips to Florida and to Fort Knox multiple times since i had it. Just turned 34,000 miles.

The Trail Boss setup is the best looking light duty truck to roll out in stock trim. Looks best in white. Nice wheel/tire ratio and size.

Generally speaking I find the Silverado to be the best looking truck across the board...but the Trail Boss just puts it over the top.

Sits just right, without looking like an overgrown man-child douche canoe.

The only problem I have with it is it's a Chevy.

I'll stick with my Tacoma.

I have a 21 Trail Boss and the lifters had to be changed at 5K miles and the differential rebuilt at 22K miles. The truck still doesn’t ride completely right at times and now I’m sometimes hearing a weird clanging sound when I speed up or slow down but it’s intermittent.

Have a 24 model with the 3.0 Diesel and 10 speed transmission, so far, I love it.

Love my ‘21. Got the 5.3 which is good for me. Got pulled over goin 110 on I-10 and didn’t even realize it. Smooth, pretty quick, and 4x4 performs well. Only “complaint” is my key gets stuck in the ignition. Have to restart it, then kill it to remove it. Other than that, it’s great.
