My son likes video games with his buddies, so one day I asked if I could play. I was no match for him in football, so he recommended we play Fortnite on the same team. Man did we have fun. I was terrible, it didn’t matter, he was just happy I partook in one of the things he really enjoys.

He used to play Fortnite a lot and I've tried playing it just to show an interest in it, but I just couldn't get into it. Been wanting to try it again to see if I feel any differently. Important thing is, it's at least showing an interest in something he likes so it's worth a shot again.

Father/Son Quality Time

Posted by tigersaint74 on 4/9/26 at 12:01 pm
I'm a 50+ year old man with a teenage son who is really not into playing sports or watching them on TV (Lord knows I've tried), but likes going to games (hockey and baseball) when I can take him to games. Other than watching movies or TV shows with him, we don't have much else in common and it really bothers me, as I struggle to find things to do with him. Is this something I should even be concerned about and does anyone have any suggestions if you are in the same situation as I am?

Omega 3

I've read that taking these 2 at night are more beneficial. I've taken Magnesium at night and I find it makes me extremely sleepy all day, the next day, unless it is something else that is causing the daytime sleepiness. I didn't take it last night so I am going to see if I feel better today. Do you take these at night or in the morning?

Im sure there is some kind of clause in their contract for things such as an injury or another issue that could come up and they miss a large portion of their end of the agreement...which is playing football. Some kind of buyout for the contract if it isnt fulfilled. I know that athletes of his caliber, whom are pretty much guaranteed to be high draft picks in the not so distant future, have insurance policies as well to cover their asses.

He’s amazing at closing the deal and people truly want to play for him. We are the “it” school with Lane as coach.

Very Saban-esque.
Not my money, but insane if true. Especially, if he ends up blowing out a knee or has some other significant injury.
Is there any possible way to remove this unintelligent, dimwit off of the Supreme Court?

Arch getting way too much hype again. He will be an above average college QB but pump the brakes.

...and Sarkisian is still the coach.

Viking Movies & TV Shows

What are some of the best and most interesting movies and TV shows that accurately portray the Vikings? I've watched the first 2 seasons of the show Vikings on Netflix and have enjoyed it, but is there anything better than that show out there?
Just watched his Junior year high school footage, and damn he can sling it.

The Godfather

About 10% in and really enjoying. Keep thinking about the movie and trying to compare things in the book to what happens in the movie, though.
...and he was the #10 ranked RB coming out of high school in 2024.

Old Camcorder/Video Camera Footage

Looking to watch old camcorder/video camera family footage on my TV. What are some suggested methods and/or RCA to HDMI convertors?
Jackson Harris or Jayce Brown maybe?

I nap fairly often during the work week. I will lie down for about an hour after work.

...and this doesn't affect your sleep at night?
quote:

Never. I never take a nap. I stay moving seems like I never stop. ADD definitely.

I'm sleepy all of the time and never get enough sleep no matter how hard I try, but if I try to take a nap, I can't because I can't stop thinking about random things. I'm assuming this is ADD as well.
None...except for prime rib where I like dipping it in au jus and creamy horseradish.
I just don't know if I can sit and watch another 3 hour Avatar movie.
