Nope, if you check prices all over that neighborhood, something is amiss

Looks like folks are bailing the hell out of that neighborhood?

Trend continues up into Klein and Spring it seems

Greenspoint must be leaking in a little more.

I'll save my money for someplace not so ugly.

Listed in Feb at $899k. They had to drop the price because it was too far for Owlie to come trim the hedges.

Also, Tejas seems to have recently had a huge bump in property taxes.

What's up with all the different roof lines?

It is slap-full of ugly.

It’s an hour from downtown Houston. It’s actually between Cypress and Spring far northwest of Houston proper outside of the Sam Houston Tollway. Lots of big houses that far out around that price. Probably right. Comparable to living in Zachary to Baton Rouge, except a lot more traffic.

Certainly not a mansion. It’s typical upper middle class sized home in Texas. Area isn’t terrible but is t great either. 10 miles north and it’s worth double.

What is the minimum square footage to be classified as a mansion?
Gotta be more than 4500

I have houses like this pop up on my search on Zillow all the time. I don’t know what it is about Houston but they have some ugly arse houses.

I guess they were all just old and dated to me and I can’t stand a regular brick house.

Regardless of personal taste, I agree with OP that the pricing doesn’t really add up.

I know Greater Houston is a huge and unique housing market, but that seems like a lot of house with well kept grounds at that price. Like if someone listed that house in Bush, LA it would be more than that. That’s more like Bogalusa pricing. Is the area that bad?
