HS reunion orgies. How did this become a thing??

I know 2 people who participated and I was invited the last reunion but apparently it's been a thing for several of them.
WTF. Just popped into my head at 3am after the thunder woke me.
Anyone else have any experience with this? Am I breaking the first rule of orgy-club that no one is supposed to talk about this? Is this the last gasp of the popular kids who peaked in high school to recapture something?
I guess I can't throw stones at weirdo Hollywood parties if this is happening in La.

Never went to a HS reunion and find them pointless. I am still friends with the people from HS that I want to be in contact with. That is 3 people at this point and two of them live in DFW area as well.
