I pay 25 bucks to a 75 year old Korean lady who will text me if I go to long without getting a cut
"I bet your hair look awful you come by today not busy"

What sort of adult is getting a buzz cut
Ones like me who don't give a rat's arse about hair. I have an Oster clipper set with several different attachments, but usually just put on the #2 and take it down across the whole head.
Then my safety razor to get the back clean lined and get the straggler hairs off the neck.

When my wife was in the salon business (sales and management), I used to get free $50 haircuts but still had to tip of course. During those years I looked pretty damn sharp. I would never actually pay $50 for a haircut, it's just not in my DNA to do so. Maybe if I was in the dating scene or had a sales job where I had to look sharp.

I live in Los Angeles... I haven't had a $15 haircut in probably 20 years.
I wish I could find a place that's even $20-25.

The place down the street from my house (Boardroom) charges $77 for this:
Of course, I haven't been to the shop above. I pay $33 for a cut at V's Barbershop, which ran about 25 before inflation went wild.

Including tip:
$50 for cut
$65 cut and shave
Pricey, but my barber is great. Cuts were $20 ($35 now) when I first started going to him. He’s been able to bump it up over the years because the demand is there.
I have no idea how barbers make a living @ $10-15 a cut

I used to pay 50-60 ish for what I thought was a top of the line haircut but then went and got one at a cheaper place for $25 and realized no difference and still got a free beer.

If it comes sith a face massage, hot towl, and hair dresser titties in my face...

Wait..people pay to buzz their heads?

Get a cheap haircut, expect mixed results. $35 bucks plus a $10 tip is reasonable to me for a good haircut. The trouble is finding a stylist you like.

I remember people posting about everyone going to some gay barber. Is that still a thing?
Gay Nate near LSU. I haven't been there in years but he cut my hair in college. I wonder if he's still in that same shop

You get what you pay for...
I think that 50 is about right for a guy's hair cut.
