I’d rather see my tax dollars being spent on US infrastructure then see it shipped off to some shithole foreign country.

They regained power twice and the black smoke was the vessel attempting to back down but a 1000’ ship traveling at 9 knots isn’t just going to stop and start backing on a dime

I remember being on a normal luxury yacht rented for a wedding and a woman on a sailboat cut in front of it and the captain threw it in reverse to try to avoid running over her. It threw everyone to the deck and lurched like hell. I couldn’t imagine being on a cargo ship and doing that

Biden is all about government and Democrat Party power.
Just know this every time he reads his teleprompter .

This collapse has made me look up info on bridges and found this one that looks like a slide into the water. I think it has been in some movies and shows. I wonder how it would be at night especially first time to use the bridge.

Astoria-Megler Bridge

Don't say that, I'm driving over that thing tomorrow.

Election year. He even said challenged congress to support him on this. I think Dems are concerned about Maryland flipping to Republican for an open Senate seat on top of the Presidential election.

I didn’t have a problem with bridges until I started having to go across that monstrosity.

Look we all agree about Biden on here for the most part but I'm okay w/him expediting this. The Port of Baltimore is vital to commerce in the Mid-Atlantic/NE.

There should be a minimum IQ threshold to be able to vote. Anything below 120 and you aren't allowed.

This country is stupid.

The bridge itself doesn’t really matter for the port. They could offload goods at the port and use the two interstate stubs on both sides to move goods out by truck. The bridge is only needed to alleviate traffic.

The only concern for the port is clearing the collapsed bridge.

I wonder if he will try to lump in sending Ukraine more money in the same bill.

You forgot the 48” three tube steel guardrail on the span that has two way traffic!
