Well, and because he was white AND white collar, LEO were entitled to know, without any uncertainty, all the people in the suspect’s office and surrounding area would be perfectly safe when he was arrested at the office, because he would never engage in a shoot out. Ever.
Nobody at the airport is second-guessing the 6 am arrest at home.

If that’s true and I believe it, good riddance.

He was taking the guns seized by security at the airport home, stockpiling them, and selling them on the black market to some very bad people. Same with drugs. He was using flights out of the airport to move those things throughout the country.
That is not what the search warrant application was based on.
search warrant application.
this idiot was buying guns legally and reselling them. even selling some at gun shows.
he bought over 150 guns within a 3 year period. 6 of these guns were later recovered from crime scenes. one gun was recovered from a crime scene 2 days after this guy bought the gun from a FFL holder.

Malinowski’s older brother questioned why agents raided his brother’s home at such an early time of day.
“The ATF should have never raided him like they did. You don’t send a whole group of people with high armed weapons like they did at 6:00 in the morning,” Matt Malinowski said. “Arrest him at work! He goes to work every day. He’s a very public figure

This is how gun control will go down.
They will show up and raid your neighbors house, and then trump up some BS crap, and you’ll say this exact thing…until your day comes and then you’ll say but but but that’s not true! Well, maybe you’ll be dead like this guy

The search warrant affidavit is on X and the guy was 100% asking to be arrested. He was doing nefarious shite and knew it. But I still can't figure out why the hell they thought doing a 0600a warrant was the way to go. Terrible call.
This is Waco level stupid shite and they should be called on the carpet for it. But they got away with running guns into Mexico and this pales compared to that.

This was not some good, innocent dude. The ATF was actually doing their legit job in this instance. He was not firing on LEO out of self defense because they caught him in bed asleep, he was going down in a gunfight.
Cool.
Now he's dead.
Can we tar and featger every single member of the ATF?
All of them.

Not really sure what he did that was illegal.
Really not sure what warrants the early morning raid.

Good story. Total BS. No F’in way this is true. Makes a good cover story for the scumbags in the alphabet agency.

Always enjoy seeing how people react to how someone looks. Oh he looks a certain way, he must be innocent. Oh law enforcement could have used kid gloves.

Maybe the authorities have info on this guy that isn’t readily available for free on tigerdroppings??

But i'd sure like to see a list of this large quantity of firearms he confiscated and stockpiled..It just doesn't add up.
As to the folks who say ATF should have grabbed him while he was at work, that’s his home field, there are plenty of innocents there, he had probably planned for that potential interdiction happening at his work and the ATF didn’t know who there (at the airport) might be in cahoots with him and tip him off beforehand or be his active ally in an arrest scenario at the airport.
The home raid was not a perfect solution, it probably was merely the best solution of all the not great options.

Why not arrest the man at work at the same time you surround his house. Go in with a warrant, search, find the incriminating stuff, and take him to criminal court for prosecution? If that had been done we could be confident about what happened.
The same reason they didn’t grab Koresh on his daily runs through town but opted for a massive arse siege that resulted in the government murdering a bunch of innocent children.
All for optics and to show the rest of the govt “see?! I am useful! Don’t cut my funding!”

I dont remember the exact number, but you cant sell more than a certain number of firearms in a year without being a dealer.

Arrest him with 0 evidence for conviction? That seems odd. Almost always the search warrant comes before the arrest warrant... but clearly not enough is being done to protect white folks committing gun crimes

Right, because if it were a rapper being shot by the feds there'd be folks celebrating... but good guys like the little rock airport executive or koresh it's intolerable and we shouldn't worry about collecting evidence, just make sure they're safely apprehended away from their contraband. They fricked around and found out
