Wisconsin Supreme court has issued an order relieving the Dugan of her official duties.
I guess it is not a good idea to get charged with a felony and a misdemeanor by the feds.

Fox News

Judges of the Wisconsin Supreme Court
I like to listen to SCOTUS oral arguments. Jackson and Sotomayor are the weakest Justices. Frequently another Justice has to come to the rescue and pose a question that clarifies a question posed by either Jackson or Sotomayor. Kagan is dangerous because she is pretty sharp. Kegan will ask questions to elicit a response to try and convince the other Justices of her position. I am not sure what Barrett is doing.

Two interesting exchanges took place this week. In the first Sotomayor was clearly angry and raised her voice at the attorney who was defending the children and families wanting to opt out against a school's storytime reading of books that were clearly against his client religious beliefs. The other was when one attorney accused the other attorney of lying. The justices took great exception to this. Gorsuch went so far as to read from the accusers brief to show there was no lying and he forced the accuser to back down. For SCOTUS argument it was pretty dramatic stuff.
"A federal judge being taken into custody without clarity of what the charges are, or why?"

Was not a federal judge it was a state court judge.
I guess it is too much to expect msdnc to get that part right.

Just show up at a refinery with a few hundred barrels trailered asking if they want to make a deal?

I had some experience with selling some oil in that area about 20 years ago. The refinery, if operating legally, has to know where the oil is coming from because if the oil is coming from a federal lease they have to withhold the royalty of 25% from the payment, I would not be surprised to find that the refinery was paying below market price for the oil.

You liberal fricks want that shite taught in school to your kids, but it's to offensive to be seen in public huh

The School Boards do not have a problem with it in the classroom but do have a problem when a parents reads the offending books a school board meeting. Showing the hypocrisy of the left.
Hard to steal the intellectual property of US companies if you cannot get your hands on the product.

The existence of a "Withholding Order preventing deportation to El Salvador," is an embarrassing lie. If it existed, I think we would have seen it by now.

I took the time to listen to the first part of the video. Interesting stuff.

As I stated before regarding the Withholding order, I would liked to have seen a country. Since the order references his application I would like to see his application to which country he was trying to avoid. What i find odd is neither party is pointing to his application. The one thing that would make since on why is that the application is also silent as to which country he wanted to avoid. What is also odd is neither party has filed a motion with the immigration judge seeking clarification on what country.
If I was Bondi, I would instruct the US Attorney in Tennessee to seek an indictment from a Grand Jury for human trafficking. Then get a no bail order from the Judge. Then let KAG know that if he is returned he will be held in prison until his trial and if found guilty he will do his time then will be deported. He will never be free in the US again.

My guess is that an illegal alien subject to deportation only gets ONE country to which they cannot be deported through a withholding order. If that's true, that country was GUATEMALA, not El Salvador in Abrego Garcia's case.

I agree that is what is said in the conclusion of facts. The problem is that the order simply says
"II the Respondent's application of removal pursuant to INA241(b)(3)is Granted."
The order seems to be ambiguous. I would have preferred the Judge included the country that he cannot be removed to in the order.
Anybody at LSU law school around 1988-1990? I seem to remember a married couple where the husband came out as trans-woman and the wife decided she was a lesbian so they stayed together. This happened right before they finished school the husband/trans-woman wanted LSU to use his woman name on his diploma and LSU refused. quite the scandal.

the right to bear arms should include owning a nuclear bomb?

Scalia in the Heller decision defined "to bear" to mean to carry. I would think a nuclear bomb is too heavy to carry. Therefore you have no right to own a nuclear bomb. Also good luck trying to buy Plutonium, just might get yourself arrested.

It may not mean they take no action

If they were going to take no action they would have denied the emergency application. I have been following SCOTUS closely for the last few years and these national injunctions have been irritating them, especially Thomas and Alito. Also Roberts is a stickler on standing. Go through all the plaintiffs in the three cases and most of them lack standing, it is basic law that a party cannot assert rights of third parties.

On the other hand there are 3 justices, Jackson, Kegan, and Sotomayor who I believe are fine with what is happening in the lower courts and would have denied the application.

Therefor it will come down to the three justices Trump appointed to decide the outcome of the case. And I believe that they will side with Thomas and Alito to severely cut back on these national injuctions.

As far as I know the DOJ has not even convened a Grand Jury. Nobody is getting charged unless and until they convene a Grand Jury. So until then they are just blowing smoke.

he will take a plea deal if the attorney's were smart

not anytime soon. his attorneys will continue telling him he has case until he is broke. Kind of like divorce attorneys keeping there clients stirred up until the parties start to complain about the attorney fees, then the case that could not be settled miraculously settles.
You have to think that the SCOTUS would not have taken these if they were going to affirm the lower courts. There are two main issues in these cases, the issuance of national injunctions by the trial courts and birthright citizenship. I would bet they will definitely take on the national injunctions, they could and should take on the birthright citizenship as it is really a matter of constitutional interpretation but may defer until final judgments from the lower courts.

Lots of inter and intra agency coordination... within fedgov, other us law enforcement, other countries, ngos, digital content, banking, etc...

I agree, I would like to add that if you take into account what came out from the DOJ, White Supremacy group, parents who speak up at PTA meeting, the Catholic church and other religious group, it gives you a blueprint on them.

Also I noted the mentioning of "disinformation" and countering it. I read that to mean censorship.

The problem is that the legal argument is very strong
I know you think it is but I am not so sure.
My understanding of the facts are that he was given a hearing and a deportation order was issued and that a stay was also issued prevention the execution of the deportation because of a fear of other gangs. I am going to go out on a limb and assert that the stay is and has always been subject to review and recall allowing the deportation to be executed. It appears that the recall hearing did not take place. Had it taken place then I am going to go out n limb again and say the stay would have been vacated allowing the deportation to take place. (based on what El Salvador has done regarding its gang problem)
When a appellant has a valid issue and wins that issued but does not change the outcome of the case it is known as a harmless error. And that is what we have here harmless error.

How much does Trump pay El Salvador to fly their president to the White House to tell him he doesn’t have to listen to US law.

Bukele did not tell Trump, he was telling the idiots on the left that El Salvador has Sovereign Immunity and no court can tell his country what to do. And since he has Diplomatic Immunity there is nothing you or the courts can do to him.

SCOTUS said that the administration should facilitate his return

That is not what the SCOTUS said. The TRO required his return by Monday April7. SCOTUS stayed that order until after the deadline, effective nullifying the order. The SCOTUS then order that the US help "facilitate his release from custody and for the District Court to explain what it meant by "effectuate"
quote:

The intended scope of the term “effectuate” in the District Court’s order is, however, unclear, and may exceed the District Court’s authority. The District Court should clarify its directive, with due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs.

SCOTUS Noem v Garcia

So they have 2A rights?

Federal law makes it a crime for an illegal alien to possess a weapon. The circuits are split on the constitutionality of the statute and the Supreme court just denied writs, so we wait until the Supreme Court decides to resolve the split.
