It’s time for the saints to finally do the right thing.
Draft Daniels.
I thought the silly petty hatred because they take a backseat to LSU would end once Shawn was gawn but I’m not fully sure.
It would be an olive branch to the state for past transgressions to trade up and draft Jayden

Every single one of our draft picks in a trade wouldn't even get us to Pick 5. We'd have to add most of next year's draft just to even be in the conversation to get to 3, and it's not even guaranteed Daniels would be there.
It's not happening. That doesn't even factor in our financial commitments to Carr, which are significant and would make having a QB on a rookie contract virtually worthless.
For better or worse, we're stuck with Carr for at least two more seasons.

This is not true. The Saints know that a star LSU product would pack the Superdome. Jayden Daniels Is that player that would bring the boom sound back to the home games.
The Jayden Daniels star is destined to shine elsewhere. You’ll have to admire him from afar; or just watch him on a TV in your living room.

That would be a Ricky Williams type of fiasco, and probably would end up worse because Daniels is a premier QB. The only situation where it wouldn't doom the franchise for 2+ years is if he falls low enough to a team that doesn't need a QB, or falls all the way to the Saints. But, trading to #1, 2, or 3 from 14? Even Loomis isn't that batshit insane.

I like Jayden a lot, but that doesn’t
