I have to say this was a very smart contract by Griff and Trajan, the fact that the contract can guarantee and void multiple times based on injury protects the team immensely and gives Zion that motivation to want to stay healthy.

I gotta tell ya, he looks good. Like, best in a Pels uniform. Looks slim, quick, and has his hops back. I think he could play 40 mins in the playoffs if needed.

Not best. December 2022 was still best. But he's getting close imo.

Last year December he still had too much muscle, still springy and fast/athletic but not quite Duke level athleticism, although a much better player by that point

I was just thinking the same just looking at his Duke highlights now. But he will never be that size again. As long as he is at a weight to be athletic and healthy, im good.

You have to also take into consideration that he was a young man there too. He’s in his grown man body now. Which in theory might be 5-10lbs bigger than Duke.

Fortunately Griffin did this contrat with weight clause but i hope Zion will stay healthy when it will be guarantee.

He was a MVP candidate in the NBA last year but he had “too much muscle” and wasn’t at “Duke level.” This is such a stupid take. You do realize competition at “Duke level” is no where comparable to the NBA and they play significantly less games in college right? Continue your detroit troll takes.

I don’t think there’s any doubt that Zion will never be at his Duke weight again. It’s just not how people age. He was 18- 19 years old at the time
