Well we did have another "alternative". We had a true conservative we could've chosen but instead, we sent him and his shoe lifts packing back to Florida.

He waffled on Ukraine to. His donors flipped him in 24 hours after he came out against.
Vivek was the only candidate who was coherent and consistent on Ukraine.

If this is something Trump actually is advocating…I disagree with him. Yes us Trump supporters can actually do this. As I said in another thread…we agree with him as a whole but we have our own minds and can make our own decisions individually and independently.

Trump cucks out fairly regularly. Israel, bombing the Syrian airfield, the vax stuff, and now this. He usually course corrects when he realizes how out of sync he is with the base.

So whats your thoughts on taking fed COVID $ and using it for a surplus in the state budget? Is that really being fiscally conservative? Honest question.
A for the OP: 2 things.
1. With the way that "Republicans" are spending in Congress, and I think we can all agree that its fricking ridiculous, its not a matter of stopping it, just a matter of slowing it down. Again, stopping the funding to Ukraine is my first option, but thats not going to happen. Both Repubs and Democrats continue to sign off on this shite every time it comes up. At least TRY and get something back for it. Dont just come out and say HEY FREE MONEY. And the main thing is with this, it doesnt cost a dime to to try and do this. Im not sure what this hurts.
2. When Trump said he could stop the war in 24 hours or whatever he said, I think they asked IF HE WAS PRESIDENT, what would/could he do with Ukraine Russia. So context matters here.
It matters because you know, I know and even he knows at this point Ukraine is going to get the money. POTUS could veto it. Hes not the POTUS.

Please enlighten us where Trump is pro-war or any record of anything close to it, BESIDES HIM ACTUALLY BROKERING PEACE DEALS & bringing Troops home & 1st non-war Prez in many many decades.
Is this supposed to be a “got ya” OP?

It's probably just a troll ploy to get the Rinos and Dems to start disagreeing with the thought of a loan instead of aid. There is no way it would even be brought up by the Senate but it is a way to get it in the conversation.
With a loan maybe Congress would not be as involved as they are in aid, the US could ask for collateral, and audits of how the money is being spent DEMs and PUBs would both vote that down.
Talking points for the election is all this is.

I wonder how many trillions Trump will "loan" Ukraine for their rebuild.

I absolutely love waking up to this thread.
Step 1 from the cultists:
Destroy all alternatives to trump
Step 2 from the cultists:
"well I don't like this but we literally don't have any other alternatives!"

This is a criminals' war. This is a NWO war. It is a war instigated by the CIA. It is a money laundering war.
It's also an dangerous and risky war. And with the French talking about getting in ... and the Poles, it could be the last war.
Anybody who supports or facilitates this war is not a patriot.
I hope this is just a matter of Trump yucking it up over a round of golf. If not; if Trump is implicated in releasing this money, I will not vote for him.
If Trump goes forward with this, it is bending a knee to the Satanic NWO and their enforcers, the CIA. And if he does it. He is probably doing it to save his arse from all their fake prosecutions.

Makes all you Pro Putin posters the past 2 years look real stupid now. Many of yall just don’t understand the reality of the situation and life outside the United States.
Even when the war ends, this aid ain’t ending anytime soon. Especially now that Russia is going to retain 20% of the Ukrainian territory that they currently occupy. We’re gonna have to beef up Ukraines military now. Doesn’t matter if it’s Biden or Trump in there. I do trust Trump to handle this more appropriately though and with a winning strategy though.
But it doesn’t matter if you think we should be the worlds police or not, because we’re going to always be the worlds police until the country collapses, or humanity destroys itself. There’s no turning back now. Turning back would be the most reckless decision we could make.

Finally, someone with common sense. And why not start loaning some of the money we send to fund their war with Russia? We go further into debt by showering them with taxpayer money and that becomes a burden down the road for our future generations, so why not expect payback someday?

We did that for 8 years, which is part of why Russia invaded.

I’d argue that we didn’t and that’s really why they invaded. We got caught with our pants down. Slap on the wrist after Crimea. The US and Europe said, under Biden/Obama type of administrations, “Don’t start invading countries Mr. Putin!” Put some little sanctions on him, then started building a pipeline to Western Europe, while at the same time talking about how bad he is. Trying to play both sides because they’re scared. Giving pillows and blankets to Ukraine. Trump gave some more but it wasn’t enough. But Biden gets back in, Putin knows Biden and his posse, and sees an opportunity because he’s an opportunist.
Then he invades Ukraine, and the US and West just start trying to cover their asses, but not in a way that would allow Ukraine to actually defend their territory against Russia.
So what’s gonna happen now, Ukraine is gonna have to agree to some sort of cease fire, that will surrender some of their land to Russia, and now there’s gonna be some major tension at this Russian/Ukrainian border. I guess pretty similar to the DMZ in Korea. But Russia will keep this pressure on Kyiv, the Baltics, Poland, and others already don’t like all of this, so will demand that NATO and the US help build up Ukraines military, and we will. US and Europe will invest heavily into Ukraine and Eastern Europe, because we can’t let Kyiv cave to Moscow. We allowed Russia to have leverage over Ukraine and the West, and they will absolutely take or try to take advantage of this under their current thought process of doing things.

In other words, continue what we’re doing now but call it a “loan” instead of “aid.”
Ukraine will never pay it back.
Ukraine will never pay it back.
