i would bet his position is listed as ILB but he'll be all over the defense like Parsons is for the cowboys

I trust BK’s judgement and I trust Baker’s schemes. Let’s not panic yet.

There’s a reason Kelly has the 2nd most wins among active coaches. He knows ball.

Speaking of that, 14 wins and he’s at 200. Currently has a .729% career and .741% at LSU. It’ll be one of the worlds greatest mysteries if a guy who has won that much comes to LSU where Les and O won titles and can’t win one.

Pretty much said the same thing in part of my post. Perkins' main liability is his inability to shed blockers due to not being strong enough. That also explains his inconsistent tackling (aka 6 missed tackles in the Ole Miss game alone as calculated by PFF). I will say he has a long way to go to get to Devin White status. White at LSU was very fast also and White would run over anyone in front of him...one tough SOB!

To be fair, it felt like he spent as much time lined up on the slot WR as he did in the box as an actual LB

84% of Parson’s snaps last year came on the edge lined up over a OT. He doesn’t really move around

no, I was merely making a point that sometimes coaches are wrong. And that applies to ALL coaches.

I was mostly joking there. The emoticon I miss the most here is "tongue in cheek". I don't see one which comes close to that one.

Did you say the same thing when Curley was here?

(I’m not comparing Kelly to Hallman, just making a point.)

which is the point

WOLB is a mostly obsolete position.
The Spread has dictated that you almost always need a 5th DB.

He’s needs to either Bulk Waaaaay up and play BOLB. like get to 235-245

Trim down and become a true safety. Which honestly I wouldnt hate. Dude is fast, he is strong. I bet he would be strong in run support, has shown the ability to read the ball in zone. and you can still blitz him /bring him up to the line.

Or become one of the 2 LB on the field in Nickel. Who I would cal ILB

I mean, yeah, Baker does know what he’s doing, and so does Kelly obviously, but you can’t tell me Kelly shouldn’t have made an executive decision and told Joe Biden errrr Matt House to put a spy on Milroe last year.

At least he’s focusing on football and not chasing 45 year old fishdog snatch that’s had so much plastic surgery he may as well be banging a blow up doll.

maybe we could give it more than 1 game.

also trying something over and over again even though you failed the first time is the definition of learning too.
