'Regular' price outside Austin last year was $10.99 so not like you paid much of a premium. I've only seen them at $15.99 so far so none for me yet.

Part of the reason I got some. Price was lower than I expected and they were pretty big too.

I'm in Memphis and a local bar was selling cooked crawfish $25 a pound...bar paid the crew up front...I asked about getting live and it was 12.50 with a weeks notice...we are normally a dollar more than south Louisiana

Full disclosure, I’ve done a “poor man’s crawfish boil”.

Mushrooms, corn, potatoes, and boiled peanuts in crab boil.

A very similar experience for a fraction of the price. It was pretty good.

I guess that your posts don't jive from time to time when trying to paint a rosy picture. Don't get upset.

If I saw this post and I were a crawfish farmer I might consider only selling in Dallas.

A friend of mine is south of crowley. His ponds now sell exclusively to Texas.

I just hope they keep buying selects. Whoever decided bigger crawfish were better wasn't a coonass tail meat yield is lower.

Shrimp have always been better than crawfish. This is nothing new.

Yes. Three Model 12’s.
2. 12 gauges and a 20 gauge. Also a 1912 Nickel 16 gauge. Used to be chambered for the old 2 9/16 shells. Had it bored to shoot 2 3/4 shells. Have killed thousands of animals with them.

Nothing like shooting a pump action shotgun when the action is heavy.
