What’s a good EDC knife

I carried a Kershaw leek for a decade and my wife broke my blade prying on something with it. Now I’m in the market for a new EDC knife. I do like the assisted opening and having a lock blade and I prefer it to have a pocket clip. Any suggestions?

I also need a new knife. I lost my Benchmade mini grip after like 7 years, which was the GOAT IMO, but they stopped making them in different colors for some dumb reason. I've been waiting on KnifeWorks to stock more of the Doug Ritter Mini RSKs which are basically a clone.
I've been wanting to check out a Bugout but I've heard that the scales are kinda flimsy. Anybody have thoughts on that?

I've been contemplating the bugout vs the bugout mini.

Boker Kalashnikov Auto Dagger style. It has a thick spline, snaps open quickly, and retains an edge.

I carry the mini crooked river…it’s definitely not a knife to be prying on shite with though.
The mini bugout i have is much smaller and lighter, and the aftermarket micarta scales from flytanium are slick AF. I’d let the wife pry with that one and just replace the blade as necessary.

She pried something with a Leek?

You didn't say price or if you care if it's made in the US. The Kershaw Cryo is a solid, inexpensive Chinese option and the tip is significatly thicker than the Leek if your wife wants to play Bob the Builder again. It has all the features you're looking for.
If you want to spend some money there are countless good options.
ETA It may be made in Taiwan, I just know it's one of their foreign models. It's a helluva value.

I swapped to a razor blade years ago. Gerber 1 in. EAB Lite Utility Knife. Thin, locks, pocket clip, barely know its there, always razor sharp

If I have a belt I always carry a case trapper. If not I carry a leek. Was thinking about getting a Kershaw launch. Handled one a couple weeks ago and really liked it.

I carry the carbon Bugout and it's light as hell. Found it on sale a while back.

I bought these three recently. I really like all three, but I mostly carry the Kizer.

This is the answer. For $60ish you can’t beat it. Flies open…locks tight…and comes with just about any style blade you like. I have two….just make sure to get the one made with D2 steel. Holds an edge way longer

I haven’t touched my mini grip since I got a mini Osborne and carbon bugout.

I carry a SOG Pentagon Xr. They're $150 give or take.
Pocket clip can be moved to either side.
