This thread was all I needed right now. I just realized I haven't bought a knife in over a year. (Except kitchen knives and gifts, of course.)

Thanks, guys.

I know it. I was in an altered state of mind when I read the first 2 pages and said frick it and ordered a couple of those Kalashnikov knives.

I don't even know who makes them. I guess I'll find out when they arrive from Blade HQ.

In the words of Lewis Grizzard: “Damn brother, I don’t believe I’d told that.”

Buy whatever you like, but know that Civivvi is owned by the Chinese CCP.

Awww. I didn’t know. I love mine. Now I feel betrayed.

I should have done a simple google search before buying. From the official website:

quote:

From a history of providing a steady stream of successful products, WE Knife Co. Ltd. (WE) has earned the reputation for always delivering innovative designs manufactured with consistently high quality. As a result, WE has established itself as the largest Chinese manufacturer of quality cutlery. Reacting to the needs of the market, in 2018 WE introduced the CIVIVI brand to specifically focus on offering a functional, utilitarian, EDC product line at more affordable prices. What is the meaning of CIVIVI? By merging WE’s core values of innovative design & quality manufacturing with handle materials such as carbon fiber, micarta, wood, G10, fiber-glass reinforced nylon and blade materials such as CPM S35VN, Damascus, 154CM, Nitro-V, N690, 14C28N, VG-10, D2, 10Cr15CoMoV, 9Cr18MoV, CIVIVI products will provide their users with value & performance without compromise. CIVIVI knives look good, feel good, work well and get the job done- all without breaking the bank. Like their WE Knife brethren, they too, are “MADE BETTER”. Understand more about WE KNIFE. WE Knife Co.,Ltd. (WE) is one of the largest designers and manufacturers of knives and tools in Yangjiang, the major manufacturing hub of China

I actually went back to leek knife from a raven crest, and then a micro tech.

Lost both which I think one was stolen and had no reason to buy a new one for the price tag I paid so I bought 3 replacement blade for my leek knife from a website based Louisiana.

I’ve carried a smaller single blade Case folder for years. Holds a great edge and doesn’t weigh down my pocket
