Of course you were because you’re just another brainwashed, clueless fricktarded liberal.

Why anyone takes the time to listen to that fool is beyond me.

Mitch. I called him the count of chocolate because he was a known Queen slayer..
Not too long after the installed husk got sworn in he did a photo op walking out of the WH with him. That was a lot of money he got put in charge of.

This is EXACTLY what the main problem of TODAY is ! A TOTAL lack of backbone/spine to DEFINE root problems ! IF/WHEN leaders/groups/officials can all sit at a table and AGREE on what a problem IS and then ACT in a manner that might solve said problem ! What we now have is a leaderless/rudder-less ship, drifting around w/o aim...all seem to be too afraid to address problems head on with viable solutions...instead we have many that put their own financial/cultural and even moral bias's over the common good !

I don’t think something as important as the DA should be left up to the voters of New Orleans. If New Orleans collapses it will hurt Louisiana severely. Perhaps state should elect the DA in any parish with over 250,000 people. Maybe a few judges too.

This is the same Latoya that can't even delegate to properly manage waste collection and summer job compensation for teens. Yet, she knows how to address the issue of crime?

I don't think she had the reading comprehension to understand the bill.

Black caucus talking pernts main, they don’t like any of the proposals Landry has put forth. They especially hate the 4 yr min for car jacking an shite.
Car jacking ranks right up there as a major violent crime and they hate a 4 year min. sentence. What do they want probation, community service?

If she don't like it, he's on the right path.

I am still waiting for her to explain why tearing down the statues didn't eliminate the crime in NOLA. We were assured all would be right if we just got rid of those damn racist statues
Let’s be fair, she wasn’t the mayor when it happened

set our city back from the progress we have made in reducing crime
What progress? The DA has refused to prosecute something like 45% of the violent crimes that have come into his office while Latoya has been using her role as Mayor to try to live a lifestyle like royalty.

That was Mitch that did that.
Mitch did absolutely nothing for the city. In the five previous times he ran for public office, he had not once ran on the goals of removing the statues. It wasn’t until after he had nothing else to run for nor done anything to propel the city that he did this and ran with the idea that he had solely ended racism.
His family benefited immensely with the building of the South Market District because they own almost all of the paid parking lots in the CBD. His family’s concrete business benefitted off of almost every project. His girlfriend’s father benefitted off of the minority-owned business contracts handed out for building the new MSY.

Did she say she made progress????????? Stopped right there.

Did anyone ever actually suggest removing statues would eliminate crime? I don’t recall ever hearing that and I live in New Orleans.
I’m sure someone can find an obscure tweet touting that but that’s not legitimate.
