For the Democrats to get rid of Biden, they also have to get rid of V.P. Sidepiece. She didn't chug all that C for nothing and won't go without something substantial.

So, I wonder what they could promise her to get her to simply go away while smiling and waving?

This all has to be done before June and the Democratic Convention. They have to make it good TV.

Regardless, Biden won't make it to Election Day as the nominee. Harris won't be the nominee. I predict it will be a midwestern female Governor or Senator who is run by the Democrats against Big D Trump.

Thoughts?

Not sure why Gavin didn’t choose her to replace Feinsteins seat. That looked like the best exit ramp.

Unless Harris nixed the idea.

Convincing Kamala is the easy part.

Who they replace her with is the the hard part. That has the potential to fracture the Democrat Party worse than the divide between Never Trumpers and MAGA.

These people are all so compromised all they have to offer is no prosecution and jail time and they’ll march to whatever best drops

I wouldn’t blame her, why drop back to your former position?

I could see some type of SCOTUS nomination working multi fold: moves her out of the way for someone else, it puts a loyalist in a lifetime position, and best of all for the regime, her lacking ability and qualifications for the position further disgraces a once revered American institution

So you think the play is:

Kickout Joe w/ 25th
Kamala becomes first female president
Agrees not to seek reelection (even though not elected)
Newsome is Presidtential Candidate
He makes Kamala senator of CA

They will use the convention to make a show of it all...
Michelle, after previously stating she wasn't interested she will accept the nomination in order to save America from Trump and his deplorables. Barack will make a speech, fireworks will go off then announce Newsome as VP.
Harris will either go away or be assured of an important cabinet post.
IMHO

Especially when the 25th A, and/or a "medical issue" is all that stands between her and the Oval Office, and entering the DNC convention as the incumbent POTUS.

The Dems will choose someone far younger than Biden/Trump.

They will choose someone who will "say" they will shut down the border.

I don't think it will be Big Mike or Newsome. Probably a female like Whitmer or Klobuchar.

I don’t see the 25th or impeachment happening. The dems won’t initiate either and if the republicans do it won’t pass.

If they can install Biden, they can install Harris.

Nothing about the election process has changed for the better.

The other part of the problem is getting her replacement approved by Congress.

If DiFi hasn’t been replaced, the Dems have 49 votes in the Senate.

If DiFi is replaced with Harris, they have 50 votes but no tiebreaker.

They can cut deals with people to get over the top on something like that but do they REALLY want to risk Biden being moved out of the way and McCarthy (at that time) becoming President?

Right now, she can resign pending appointment of her replacement, which means she has the ability to be the tiebreaker on that vote.

That means they can get through but she also has power to frick them if they don’t give her what she wants.

That presents its own optics problems for the Dems, IMHO.

Biden’s clearly not capable. If it gets invoked and they vote to keep him in, it is going to kill them in public perception.

I’ve said from the beginning that they’ll keep Joe and let Trump win. It’s more entertaining for Dems when they don’t have the embarrassment and can blame everything on Trump. November Biden will be gone by vote. Kamala will disappear.

They minimized Trump’s damage to them last time around by paralyzing his administration from within.

If Trump wins again, I see every agency being given full layoff orders and then him rehiring them from scratch. Salt the Earth lest Carthage rise up again.
