I vividly remember people here who claimed he was “in over his head” and wanted him fired, because of the rain delay that happened during last year’s Super Regional.

Those people are idiots. Probably the same people that wanted Jayden to go pro so that Nuss could start. They also think that HVL isn't a good basketball player and McMahon isn't a good coach.

LSU fans can be some of the best but also some of the worst. There is zero reason for Johnson to have ever gotten a For Sale sign posted in his yard. Way to quick with their disapproval.

I'm going to need a link. I don't think I've seen a single person comment that "Jay Johnson should be fired."
Yes, there were people frustrated with the sun delay last year in the Super Regionals (Ell was drunk at the tailgate, cut him some slack) but no one ever seriously said that Jay Johnson should be fired.

What about the fan or fans who emailed him after he got the job telling him who to cut, like Milazzo? Sometimes LSU fans, especially baseball fans, are just too much.
