Well now that bet at #1 for +1200 isn't looking so bad.

Oh you know that's gonna happen. Meanwhile we will draft some oft-injured project lineman from the Sun Belt or FCS as Dennis Allen and Mickey 69 together.

This is always nice to hear and not only b/c I put a few bucks on JD to to be the first draft pick when the odds were +3500.

Anthony Richardson will also help Daniels
Similar skillset

Not really. Anthony Richardson is a fricking linebacker and has never been CLOSE to the passer that Jayden Daniels was this past season.

Just a solid combine and a Williams tank job from the #1 pick.

FanDuel odds are now +4000 (up from +3500). Posting now for those people that will say, "The odds were never that! You're full of it." if/when it happens.

I agree with Jayden over Drake Maye
. Would love for Jayden to go 1 but more important I do not want him going to the Bears. That is a terrible organization. Let them take that knucklehead Williams

Hell, he should be number one. I would take Jayden over Williams in a heartbeat. Tougher competition and better RPO in the NFL. Lamar Jackson has proven that as the QB of the future. JD5 deserves to be #1.

He may not be. But given the Bears have the #1 pick you know that will be in the back of their minds given both guys kind of have the same physical attributes. Then you have Washington at #2 whose starter, they may be looking to replace, is a UNC QB (Howell). That could also create a bias against a UNC QB.

All that said, I think Atlanta is going to make too good offer to Chicago to move up to the #1 spot.

I think he goes first and my $25 wins $525 . His dual threat skills coupled with his cool and joy on the field and his lack of off field concerns moves him above Caleb Williams I’d take him first. He’s just a winner and a good man to have on your team.

Eh, they're both going to have great measurables and do very well in a combine setting, but have never been elite on the field against top competition while also piling stats against weaker foes. Coincidentally, they both played for the same college.

Trubisky final year stats:

3,748 yards, 68%, 9.1 YPA, 30 TDs/6 INTs, 157.9 rating

93 rushes, 308 yards, 5 TDs

Maye:

3,608 yards, 63%, 8.5 YPA, 24 TDs/9 INTs, 149.0 rating

112 rushes, 449 yards, 9 TDs

ETA:

Maye listed as 6'4" 230 in college, likely going to be 6'3" at combine. Trubisky was 6'2" 225 at combine. They are very similar physically.

I feel like there's a Maye-type QB in the draft every year and they rarely ever work out. I don't know why you would draft someone like that over Jayden.

What do you mean that type of quarterback? There are multiple reasons why a team would draft Drake Maye over JD.

Drake Maye's stats as a redshirt freshman:

4,321 yards, 66%, 8.4 YPA, 38 TDs/7 INTs, 157.9 rating

184 rushes, 698 yards, 7 TDs

Those are insane numbers for a guy in his first year starting.

Stats I posted above were Trubisky's first year starting as well and are similar

He had 1,000 less yards and 10 less touchdowns... That's a pretty big difference

I like the Lamar Jackson comparison as far as playing style. They will want Jayden to get thicker like Lamar. But I am surprised they are only listed as 5 pounds different with Jayden 1 inch taller

Lamar definitely thicker up top
