Not big on the tumbler scene, but we bought a Stanley 64 oz water jug for my daughter to use at soccer and it is awesome. We've been through several other types and this one is by far the best.

Listen to yourself.

It’s an insulated cup. I’m sure yeti and hydroflask are just as good. Can’t stop these women.

I got one for Christmas and it's the best cup I've ever owned. The excellent rubber seal, straw, handle, and cup holder compatibility are elite.

I bought rtic ones for my kids.

My wife is a fairly recent convert to drinking out of yeti cups. I despise them. Opening the cabinet is a crap shoot if any if that paraphernalia will crash out if it.

I also received one as a gift. It’s a great product and unlike yeti it is dishwasher safe.

to be fair, i still have and use my plain silver yeti cup from 10 years ago every single day.

I have a 25 year old set of Nissan Stainless by Thermos vacuum insulated pint glasses I bought around the year 2k. They are beat to hell and dented but still work as good as the day I bought them.

I really regret noy buying their Ultimate Destop Mug they made at the time. Vacuum insulated stainless steel with a wide base that makes it hard to knock over. They also made vacuum insulated titanium bottles back then and I always wanted one but those were mega pricy and I could never justify the expense.

My favorite thing in this fad is my wife thinking she is part of some counter culture because she has the Simple Modern version of the Stanley

A woman after my own heart.

We got two of these at Costco for $15 (for the two pack). Works like a champ for the shite ton of water I drink at work.

They decided to pay a bunch of mom "influencers" to push them. Marketing works. Who knew?

Yeah my understanding is that a new CEO or president came on board and spearheaded the whole deal. Honestly pretty smart.

Edit - someone beat me to it. But yes, it was the dude who is responsible for the explosion of Crocs.

And now you have to get your lid at customer service if you buy yours at Academy.

Some marketing guy figured out that targeting gullible women is profitable.

You’re saying it’s not possible that they simply make a great product?

Believe it or not, both of these things can be true.

It is a nice cup AND people (not just women) are gullible and heavily influenced by social media.

My wife already has about 10 different large water cups on various brands, shapes, sizes. We're out of cabinet space.

I use just a half gallon coolflask:

My brother started using them several years ago, before the craze started. He has tons of them in various sizes and replaced his yetis with them. That said he laughs at the lengths people will go to get them.
