I mean he’s not Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes but he’s pretty damn solid

Mid QB surrounded by talent with an elite play caller

Russell Wilson would be interesting in Santa Clara with all of those weapons. He could go back to being a game manager QB
Like even if Wilson was better at this point (he’s not), it would be stupid to have a player they is going to take up a ton of cap space who is in his decline for a 2nd year player making like $700k a year.

2 most overrated of all time. you put Purdy on those teams and he wins at least 2 super bowls. both had the best oline and elite defenses and receivers.

I would take Purdy over Lamar any day and Jackson’s days are numbered. Once he loses a step he is done and he will go the way of Cam Newton.

I hear the old adage if this QB played for the Steelers, Cowboys, Dolphins, Raiders etc….cause all these teams had great players everywhere in the 70’s. It’s tough to tell because we’ll never know how these guys would like to get smashed in the face, head, chest and knees countless times during a game. They would probably love Lester Hayes mugging their receivers while safeties took their heads off every crossing route. Let’s not talk about when they scrambled across the line of scrimmage. I believe some of today’s guys could do it but I am pretty confident a number of elite QB’s of this recent history wouldn’t like playing under those conditions. Just my two cents but what the hell do I know?

Purdy is not on par with the Lamar Jackson is playing but I would certainly expect a super bowl in his future.

He's better then Love. That's all that mattered yesterday.

They both made some terrible decisions/throws. What mattered was San Fran's D caught Love's mistakes and Green Bay's D dropped Purdy's.

What’s “any type of real QB”?

Pay no attention to the yahoos on this board. They think if a guy isn’t immediately prime Peyton Manning or their idealized 1985 QB then he sucks. There are maybe 10-15 good to great NFL QBs right now, and Purdy is certainly among them.

Would be a perfect fit for Wilson. Well in his prime anyway.

I'd say they are about equal right now. The Niners defense is a good bit better than the Packers.

The current narrative on #49ers QB #BrockPurdy is a lazy and off mark. A good system doesn’t produce below. A good system helps a great QB be a great QB.

People once said that about Montana because he was not flashy and he had #85 that would make him look good
