Greyhounds are awesome! Great story.

I have a retired racing greyhound, they really are the sweatest dogs, mine sleep probably over 20 hours per days. Got her when she was three and had to teach her all a bunch of new things like stairs, mirrors, and tv. She had been fostered but was still pretty fresh off the track. She did get seperation anxiety because they were never alone growing up in racing, she is better now. Have had her for 3 years, and she is amazing and lazy.

Great story, but I ll say that most, not all, of the dogs we take in to foster have a lot of anxiety the first few days. Some take a little longer than others to adjust to their new environment.

I wish that every dog and cat could be in a loving home with good care

The clip of her running through the water around the 1:30 mark was cool af.

Love it, thank you for posting. Enjoyed watching her come out of her shell, and that running! Greyhounds are beautiful!

It’s sad how so many people don’t understand that & want to return them after a week
Hijack
A lot of local shelters are looking for fosters for a few days next week with the cold temps coming, most will provide food, crate & other necessities

I like when dogs go through that what I call “crazy dog mode”. where they run in circles like nothing will stop them…. We have a three year old female chocolate that does it in the back yard, it’s awesome….

Greyhounds are the sweetest damn dogs ever. They are nothing but a couch potato when inside. If I had a big enough back yard to let one run once a day, I'd have one in a heartbeat.
