Would surprise nobody that Norvell ends up getting a fatter bump from FSU than anticipated, I'm sure he was in line to get something like that after this season

O left a mess for Kelly. We're getting back on track. On another note Kelly beat Bama his first season at LSU. 
I'll cut you some slack though. I'd be crying like a bitch if I lost Saban too. Every Bama fan is coming to terms with the fact that they will never be close to what they were under Saban.

Saban is 72 years old. He's looked miserable on the sidelines going on two seasons now. It was probably time for him to retire. Wanting a 75 year old coach is insanity. If I were him I would have packed it up after 2020. The idea that Saban leaving means Alabama won't ever win again is laughable. We beat LSU with Perkins, Curry, Stallings, and even Dubose and Fran. It's not like we need a juggernaut coach to beat LSU. Look at the all time series record if you don't believe me.
