If this nonsense is the only thing making you feel better as a bama fan, we'll just sit back and keep laughing at you.

Comparing that era of LSU ain't the same as the last 20 years. Only Bama has more national titles than us. And I don't think Bama will be terrible. They'll be fine. But they will not be anything like they were under Saban. Not even close.

Losing to Michigann with JJ is more embarrassing than losing to FSU wit Travis Hunter

Very interesting that Norvell tweeting about his success in poaching player from BAMA. Doesn't sound like someone who is candidate for BAMA job. This gets more interesting the longer it goes. I'm really surprised that BAMA didn't already have their man before retirement announcement was made.

Delly just having some fun. I would love for Bama to get denied by their entire top 5, but this doesn’t really mean anything.

I bet Norvell is begging for the job after all that's happened lately. The ACC is a sinking ship this is his chance

Not so sure Bama couldn't do better though

seems like the typical coach tweet when someone commits. you continue to do your job up until the moment you leave. unless you're coach o, then you mail it in for 2 years.

Do coaches even control their own accounts these days? Probably some intern covers that. Wouldn't read much into that tweet

3:50 p.m., Thursday, Gene -- Fox Sports' Joel Klatt is reporting that Kalen DeBoer is far in away the leading candidate for the Alabama opening. Reading the tea leaves, it sounds like DeBoer will be or has been offered the job, but Alabama is at the same time negotiating with Norvell and/or his agent in case DeBoer falls through.

Makes sense Pelican. I would think Norvell would jump at the chance to get to SEC and out of ACC. That legal wrangling will drag on for some time. I'll bet he's reaching out to whoever pushes that twitter button to get them to sit tight, as we speak. Agree, you keep doing your job, though.

I think they believed they did with Lanning. Hence the almost immediate media speculation and betting odds that he was the guy.

He said no, so here we are. And to be fair, it hasn't even been 24 hours yet since the news about Saban broke.

FSU melt would be one for the books.

I gotta admit. I would feel bad for the kids who did everything right, stuck it out, got jobbed by the playoff committee, got their arse beat short-handed and then lose their coach. Talk about an unfair shake. Damn.

Norvell tweets and DeBoer odds changed at the same time. Its over. Its DeBoer. Write it down.

DeBoer would be a great hire for Bama. Dude is a winner and just the fact of what he accomplished at Washington is proof. Not to mention everywhere he has been he wins. His career is much like Sabans up until now. IMO

But Alabama fans don't like his entire team quit on him. It points to culture problems and scares Alabama fans away.

I love how on this site everyone but Alabama fans know how Alabama fans feel. Every other fan I talk to would love to have Norvell.
