Denbrock isn’t given credit for the 2023 offense? Many posters want Brady back but few care that Mike left. Why is that?

Because Orgeron wasn’t an offensive coach and Ensminger was here and didn’t have 2019 success. Denbrock ran BK’s offense. BK has said that clear as day on a couple of occasions

this is apples and oranges. you should be asking why isnt Joe Sloan given credit for the 2023 offense.

Ensminger and Denbrock are OCs
Brady and Sloan are QB/passing game coordinator

Fans are giving credit to Brady and Sloan

Most posters are idiots, so let’s begin there. Also, this is Brian Kelly’s offense and he’s still here. Ed O was a DLINE coach that knew nothing about offense or for that matter, calling a defense. BK is in every offensive meeting. Whoever the next OC is, they’ll know that it will still be a BK offense. The ones that know this aren’t freaking out.

I think he gets less and less credit as the years go by.

He was great that year by adding some wrinkles and energy to the offense, but that offense wasn't a success because of him.

I only wish that 2019 staff would have stayed together...I would have liked to see that 2020 yr with the 2019 staff

The change from 2018 to 2019 is just easier to trace to Brady because he was the main change.

I think Denbrock gets credit but he had a whole year with Daniels in 2022 & blew it just like Ensminger did in 18’ with burrow

No one with any sense thinks Joe Brady was responsible for 2019. He was part, he taught LSU and E the Saints passing scheme. He wasn’t the coordinator that was E. He didn’t call the plays that was also E.

Because many people are simpletons who insist on finding a single reason for everything. The QB (or OC or HC or DC) lost the game.

Neither Joe Brady nor Denbrock were the sole reason for their offense's success. In 2019 we had the greatest offensive line in the country and the greatest in LSU history. No other Tiger offensive line, previous to that, was even close. We had two of the most remarkable receivers that college football has ever seen, and we had Joe Burrow. We also had a superb technician at offensive coordinator named Steve Ensminger. Ensminger and Orgeron brought in Joe Brady who supplied the one missing ingredient to this masterpiece - the Saints' playbook!

In 2023 we had a fabulous QB, another exceptional offensive line, another shockingly talented WR group, and a very good offensive coaching staff.

Both seasons had great offenses for a variety of reasons. Neither was because of a magician at offensive coordinator.

There is nothing we can do to get Denbrock back. Move forward,

Also, from my understanding the offense is still a product of BK. Of course I wish Denbrock stayed to run the offense.

Literally the same reason. Joe Brady is getting credit and Joe Sloan is getting credit. Only difference is, this time we lost the one not getting the credit.

one big factor is that Ensminger had Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Helaire, and the Oline in 2018 and did little with it.

Brady came in 2019 and that same talent exploded.

There’s no comparison for the 2019 Team. The best we’ll see for a long time.

Brady's offense worked because he had Joe Burrow. It was an NFL scheme that few college QB's could run. Brady wouldn't have had the same success in college without a QB like Burrow. It's probably why he bolted to the NFL right away.

This doesn't make sense. Ensminger was the OC and people gave all the credit to Brady. The same comparison would be to give the credit this season to Sloan or someone else.
